These pages and posts are defined by my desire to share my passions for life,
liberty and the pursuit of happiness – to share the values of individual excellence and free thinkers, economic opportunity, limited government and a strong national defense.
They are born of a need to follow my heart – to promote and support the enlisted men and women of the finest military in the world, and its veterans, who, through their never-ending dedication to freedom, sacrifice themselves for the United States of America not for love of self, but love of country.
I’m one of those people who’d been napping over the past few years, truth be told. The 2008 election was the final straw, as it were. It’s not that I hadn’t noticed things were going in the wrong direction. I just didn’t think it could possibly be that bad. I was wrong.
Now I’m fully awake. Watching, listening, questioning, praying for future of our country, us and our children.
I struggled momentarily to see how our military and the politics of the day could mesh on this site for awhile. But the bottom line is I am a lover of freedom, willing to do whatever it takes to save the country I love from tyranny. And I believe it currently stares us in the face. Isn’t that what the men and women of our military do daily?
Please understand that while my views are conservative, they are not representative of a political party. Republicans and Democrats alike are responsible for the mess we’re in. As are all of us for taking freedom for granted. For being silent all these years.
I hope this site gives you a renewed sense of faith in yourself and in Americans, a sense of the great accomplishments we can make as a free society, and the promises offered in a nation united by the significance of its calling. The time is now. Please continue to wake up, America.
Whether you agree with the words on these pages, may you at least walk away with food for thought.
